Most couples don't book security because they're expecting trouble — they book it because a wedding is the one day where everyone you love, plus a room full of gifts and cash, is in one place, and you genuinely don't have the headspace to be watching the door. An uninvited ex, an estranged family member, or simply someone who's had too much to drink and won't take a hint — these are the situations a wedding actually needs handling, quietly and without a scene, so the day carries on exactly as planned.

Party Event Security is able to cover weddings across London and the surrounding boroughs, from intimate registry office days to large multi-day celebrations spanning several cultures and customs within the same family.

Gift & cash security

Wedding gifts commonly include cash, cards and envelopes left on a table for hours at a time, often in a room that empties out once the dancing starts. We provide a guard whose specific role is to watch that table, and can supply a secure deposit safe on request — a rotary slot for guests to post envelopes into during the day, with a locked chamber for you to collect everything at the end of the night.

Tailored to your culture and customs

Weddings vary hugely in format — a traditional English wedding breakfast, an Indian wedding running across several days and ceremonies, or a Nigerian wedding with a large open guest list are very different events to secure. We ask about your specific format, customs and expected guest numbers up front, and brief guards accordingly, rather than sending the same generic team to every job.

SIA licensing

Every guard we supply is SIA-licensed. If your venue requires proof of licensing as part of their booking terms, we're happy to provide it ahead of the day.
